Our Story
Des Moines Junk Removal started in 2014 as a family-owned hauling company with one truck and one goal: give people a faster, cleaner alternative to renting a dumpster or wrestling a couch out of a basement on their own.
Twelve years later, we're still family-owned. We've grown the crew and added trucks, but every job still gets the same attention as our first one. The owners are on the trucks. The crew has been with us for years. And the price you're quoted is the price you pay.
What We Do
We haul junk. Furniture, appliances, garage piles, basement clutter, construction debris, estate cleanouts, hot tubs, mattresses, and everything in between. Residential, commercial, rental properties, and job sites across the Des Moines metro.
What we don't do is hidden fees, hourly meters, or upsells. You send photos, we send a flat-rate quote, you pick a day, and we show up and load. That's it.
Licensed, Insured, and Local
We're a licensed Iowa hauling contractor with full general liability insurance. Every member of our crew is covered, every truck is permitted, and every load is disposed of through the appropriate transfer station, donation center, or recycler.
That matters. When an uninsured hauler damages your floor, scratches a door frame, or dumps your old fridge in a roadside ditch, you're the one stuck with the cleanup. We carry the insurance and follow the rules so you don't have to think about it.
